Regional Collective Impact Gatherings

Rebuilding identities and rewarding lives after stroke is a journey of discovery and resilience. Stroke Onward’s Regional Collective Impact Gatherings feature a series of empowering events for people to come together and share personal experiences, insights, and resources for transforming stroke recovery.

We welcome everyone –  survivors, carepartners, healthcare professionals, academics, artists, civic leaders, and neighbors. By collaborating with people with diverse viewpoints and expertise, we can reimagine healing and identify new solutions to complex healthcare challenges for stroke survivors and beyond. Gather with us in person or join our online community (SOCC) to share your perspective.

Highlights from The Stroke Monologues

The Stroke Monologues is a live storytelling experience created by Stroke Onward to center the emotional and identity dimensions of life after stroke. Through personal stories from survivors, clinicians, and care partners, these performances elevate lived experience alongside medical and research perspectives.

In October 2025, Stroke Onward presented The Stroke Monologues in the Bay Area. The short clips below are excerpts from those live performances.

Full recordings are available inside the Stroke Onward Community Circle (SOCC) — a free, members-only online community for people navigating life after stroke.
